Types of cooking classes

  1. Demo Class. I will demonstrate all the recipes. Guests observe the process and get small samples.

  2. Hands-on Cooking Class. We will prepare all the meals together. You will sample all the meals and will have to-go containers to take home.

  3. Hands-on Cooking Class + Seated Brunch/Dinner Experience. After the cooking part, we will have a sit-down lunch/dinner to enjoy all the meals.

About Cooking Class + Seated Brunch/Dinner Experience

  • A fun, interactive, and educational hands-on cooking class and soulful experience

  • We make all meals together as a team

  • Full portioned 3- to 5-course menus

  • You will learn how to make from 4 to 10 individual recipes in total

  • Learn about the nutritional value of the ingredients

  • High-quality, organic (unless unavailable), gluten-free, refined sugar-free ingredients

  • Emailed and printed recipes for you to take home

  • Aprons will be provided for the duration of the class

You will be inspired and confident to make recipes on your own

No prior cooking experience is needed

No need to be eating a vegan diet either

Deposit and payments

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to book your class.

The remaining payment is due 3 days before the class.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • No refunds on any deposits

  • 50% refund of the full price if canceled less than 7 days before the class.

  • No refunds for any cancellations less than 72 hours before the class (I accommodate emergencies, please contact me for details).

    Discounts. For seniors and anyone in financial hardship, I am always happy to make the classes affordable. Please reach out.

Important Information

Group and Team Building Classes

  • Classes take place at your home or your venue/event/company site.

  • I do not have a dedicated location at the moment for hosting large group classes. However, I can suggest options for rental venues for your group or team-building class.

  • Rental fees + cleaning fees will be applied on top of my chef’s rate according to the venue’s policy. (The average price around the Bay Area for rentals is $150/hour with a 4-hour minimum booking time. Rates vary per event space and day of the week)

Classes hosted in Your Home

  • For classes taking place in your home, please make sure you have a working stove and oven, several mixing bowls plus all sizes of bowls (the more the better), and at least two of each: pots, pans, baking sheets, and baking dishes.

  • All meals will be served on your available dinnerware.

  • I do not provide or shop for alcohol. Please feel free to bring your own.

  • After the class, I will help make 1 load of dishes to the dishwasher, and the rest will be stacked prepped for you to load later.

Cooking Class hosted in my home

  • For an intimate class of up to 4 people, I can host your private class in my apartment in downtown Burlingame.

  • I also provide beautiful dinnerware and elegant table settings to enjoy all the meals after we are done cooking.

  • I do not serve alcohol in my home nor do I provide one.

  • Please inquire about availability.
